Navico appoints new country manager in France - Gildas Le Masson

Navico, the world’s leading manufacturer of marine electronics for the leisure market, has recently appointed a new country manager to oversee Navico operations in France: Gildas Le Masson.

Gildas brings with him 17 years’ experience of working at management level in the navigation electronics sector having been international business and product development director at Magellan and business development manager at Dassault Sercel NP, France’s leading navigation equipment specialist. During his illustrious career, Gildas has also been Europe business unit director for Magellan and MLR at Thales, the global developer of information systems for the aerospace, defence and security markets.

43-year-old Gildas holds two degrees: a masters in management gained at the Audencia School of Management in Nantes, and a masters degree in engineering which he was awarded by France’s national civil aviation institute ENAC. He has broad experience in international sales and has been responsible for finding new routes to market for all the products in his portfolio.
